Why are insecurities the most important thing that people think about?

Insecurities stop people from making important and sometimes life changing decisions. Just the thought of your own or someone else's opinion discouraging how you should act. It also makes people depressed, knowing or thinking that they aren't good enough

Because there is nothing that is perfect and people want to acquire the unattainable thus they want to be perfect and something about them that isnt deemed perfect by the socoeties standards it said to imperfect and its a natural instinct of the human being to be perfect at everything and that gets even worse with people who are perfectionists, like myself.
