Why does Odysseus leave Circe's island? He wants to visit the underworld. He constantly weeps for Ithaca. He angers Circe. His men beg him to leave.

    Odysseus does go to the underworld, but that isn't why he left the island. His men begged him to leave, and he was finally convinced to leave.
