If you were a lawyer defending one of the accused today, what arguments would you make to defend your client? Compose a one-page speech which defends the innocence of John Proctor. Be sure to use examples from the text to make your case.

    First of all, this sounds like it is accompanied by a passage in your book. Secondly, even if you did get an answer off of here, using it would be plagiarism, and would easily come up off of any test a teacher would use. You're going to have to do this one yourself.
