Why does gatsby deliver so many goods and services to nick's house?

    Gatsby sends so many goods and services to Nick's house to basically bribe him into inviting Daisy over so Gatsby and drop by and "accidentally" run into her. Nick doesn't want to do it and says he doesn't have time, so Gatsby is trying to change his mind by sending the goods and services.
