What is the difference between a dangling modifier and a misplaced modifier

    A dangling modifier modifies or describes something that's not really clear in the sentence.

    A misplaced modified is placed somewhere in the sentence so that it's not clear exactly what it's modifying, or it seems as if it's modifying something other than what it's supposed to.
