"The Lagoon" is actually a short love story that was written by Joseph Conrad. The protagonist in this story is Arsat who is a Malayan man, who fell in love with Diamelen. This story tells us that he is someone who is unafraid to risk his life but who is also capable to love someone. Therefore, the answer to this would be the last option: Love is the greatest driving force in human decisions.
