Excerpt 1 contains alliteration and excerpt 2 uses onomatopoeia. The alliteration comes from using the first letter the same with more than one word ie tale of terror turbulency tells or a poem I myself wrote ie the buzz of bees and other bothersome bugs.

The alliteration comes from using the first letter the same with more than one word ie tale of terror turbulency tells or a poem I myself wrote ie the buzz of bees and other bothersome bugs. The onomatopoeia is using a word which has a sound similar to the actual sound being described ie moaning and groaning of the bells.
