Excerpt 1 contains alliteration and excerpt 2 uses onomatopoeia. The alliteration comes from using the first letter the same with more than one word ie tale of terror turbulency tells or a poem I myself wrote ie the buzz of bees and other bothersome bugs.

The onomatopoeia is using a word which has a sound similar to the actual sound being described ie moaning and groaning of the bells.
