What is the best way to combine these sentences?

There is a condition that causes a momentary cessation of breathing. It is called apnea. It often occurs during sleep.

    The correct answer is B. A isn't correct because it doesn't sound right, 'when' is out of place there. C isn't correct because after 'apnea' there has to be a comma. Therefore B is the only correct answer.
