But when the blind prophet, Tiresias came he warns Creon to bury Polynieces because the gods were angry. Creon was advised to do as he has been advised. He consented to the burial of Polynieces.

    "Antigone" is a tragedy play written by Sophocles. It is a play that was written around 441 BCE. It reveals the death of two sons of Oedipus, Eteoclus and Polyneices and how Creon took over the kindgom. Creon refuses to bury Polynieces because of his wicked act.
