Compare the lives of the animals when they live under Jones and under Napoleon. In what ways has Napoleon proved himself a similar tyrant?

The lives of the animals under Jones and Napoleon may have seemed different at first but it was the same. They both wield authority over the animals and did not act democratically. Their words became the rule of the farm and both exercised power over everyone.

Napoleon was a similar tyrant like Jones as he also influenced the animals to do his bidding while he himself enjoyed the works and loved 'ruling' over them.

George Orwell's science fictional story "Animal Farm" tells how a group of farm animals rebelled against their human masters and create a society and government of their own. but this did not last as, like the human world, the fight for power led to their destruction and downfall.

The animals in "Manor Farm" were first though 'unofficially' under the leadership of old Major Jones, a middle aged boar. He had instigated and even influenced the animals of the need to have their own rules and authority. Then, after the death of Jones, the speeches and ideas instigated by Jones came to be taken in full swing by the animals, under the eye of two pigs (for they were generally recognized as being the cleverest of the

animals).

The two pigs Snowball and Napoleon had differing opinions and takes on the course of action needed. napoleon grew to be more stronger and more respected. But then the same case of work and authority came upon the animals. majority of the food they produce was given to the dogs and pigs, and the autonomy they enjoyed was more and more controlled by the pigs. The level of tyranny began to be the same as during the time of Jones.

Napoleon's words and whatever he suggested seemed to be the order of the day, the more better judgement to be followed. And whoever seemed to disobey or refuse to do it was punished. The common slogan and phrase "Napoleon is always right" came to be the dominating thought of the animals in the renamed "Animal Farm". And it was through the act of Napoleon that the humans once again became the masters of the animals.
