Explanation:

This is so because when rounding off decimal places we have to consider whether the last number is 5 or above 5 and also if the number is bellow 5. So in this case the last decimal place which is 1 is below 5 so we just cut it off. But if it was 5 or above we would have added a 1 to the following number which in this case is 6, so the answer would have been 0.87 but it's not because the last digit is below 5.
