Do you think you could survive a night in the wilderness? What would you do differently

than the characters in this story? Why?

Answer: whatever the story is, I know I can spend the night or nights in the wilderness; I have many times, with a blanket, knife and carbine. With a fire, you can cook what you hunted or brought with you. As long as you have some water and (some) sort of nutrition, you can go as you like in the woods. Granted, I grew up in such a place, but I'd rather spend a week in the woodlands than overnight on most big city streets!
