Meaning of Symbol:
A symbol is a mark or a letter or a sign which is often used to represent objects and ideas. For example: Rose is a symbol of love, Dove symbolizes peace. In our day to day life we come across many symbols. Take example of traffic lights - red color symbolizes stop, green color symbolizes proceed, whereas yellow indicates be ready. Trees and nature are symbols for natural beauty. Symbols are the fundamentals of all human understanding. Without symbols it would have been really difficult to develop an understanding of the things around us.
