"The Laburnum Top is silent, quite still

In the afternoon yellow September sunlight,

A few leaves yellowing, all its seeds fallen."

    i) The top of the laburmum tree is silent because the young ones of the goldflinch are anxiously waiting for their mother with food

    ii) Both the laburnum tree and the goldfinch's features are yellow in coulour. So, the babies escape being noticed by any predator with this effect. Thus the yellow coour provides high security to the young ones of the Goldfinch
