Answer: When we use a negative adverb or adverb phrase at the beginning of the sentence. Usually, we put the expression at the beginning of the sentence to emphasise what we're saying. It makes our sentence sound surprising or striking or unusual. It also sounds quite formal.

W use inversion when we put the verb (predicate) in front of the subject of a sentence. We usually do this in the form of questions.
Explanation:
Ordinary sentence: You're tired. (The subject is' you' before the' are' verb.) Question form: Are you tired? (The verb' are' comes before the subject' you' has changed positions. It's called inversion.) In most English verb tenses, if we want to use inversion, we only switch the verb to the subject before. When there is more than one verb, since a tense verb has ancillary verbs for example
