Krogstad and Mrs. Linde have a relationship that is open, respecting each other's opinions with no secrets. They also have an honest relationship, communicating with each other well, which are all missing in the Helmers' relationship.

    Explanation:

The characters of Mrs. Christine Linde and Krogstad are from Henrik Ibsen's play "A Doll's House". The story or plot of the play revolves around the societal and more largely on the man-woman relationship, especially in the domestic sphere.

Though Mrs. Linde and Krogstad were just minor characters in the play, they provide the opposite of what the major characters are. Unlike Helmer and Mora's relationship which seemed to be based on patriarchal norm, the relationship of Krogstad and Linde is more of mutual respect for one another. they can freely communicate, with Krogstad listening to Mrs. Linde and even taking her advice. On the other hand, the Torvald has authority over his wife Nora and even sometimes admonishes her for her spending and actions. Also, Nora kept secrets from her husband, which is never the case for Mrs. Linde.

Mrs. Linde may have gotten married for financial reasons even though she loved Krogstad but now that she's a widow and her brothers have no need for her, she has more courage to being a fresh relationship with her former lover. the end of the play shows her go out with Krogstad and even telling him not to retrieve the letter he had written for Torvald. She also advised Nora to face their problems and not pretend anymore.
