The author mentions that scientists are unsure of "why younger children don't show the same poor impulse control when viewing a threatening face." What theories do you have for explaining this phenomenon?

    Because they believe that if the person looks scary, the repercussions for their actions will be more severe. to avoid getting hurt, they will act more polite and watch their actions more when seeing someone who looks threatening, as oppose to sometime who looks kind and gentle.
