Daisy portrayed as a Paradox since she has a attitude of the upper class and "old money". But she is really unhappy despite everything.

The Great Gatsby was a famous and third novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald. This novel is based on the contrary concept of The American Dreams novel of the same author.
The Great Gatsby was written to explain that the concept told in this the American Dreams was false and cannot be achieved. He uses a lot of Paradox statements in this novel.
A paradox is a statement has acceptable situations that turn into a non-acceptable and unexpected conclusion. Daisy is a character in the novel loved by Gatsby.
She was rich and wealthy also had the complexion to be loved by many men. Even Gatsby loved her but she always chose Tom over anyone. With Tom, she was never happy since he had multiple affairs.
