    Edmund Burke's quote analysis.

'The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing' this is a quote which is attributed to Edmund Burke who was a renowned philosopher and statesman of his time. It was the year 1770 when Edmund quoted this quote in one of his speech. By this he meant that it is necessary for people to oppose evil and stand against injustice, because ignoring evil would simply mean the growth and spread of evil.

In today's time this quote is simply irrelevant or rather different. Because today, people don't really have time and energy to go out and stand against the bad happenings. Of course, there are certainly people who fight for injustice, but in today world, evil outnumber the good.
