A stanza is usually a element in poetry and is made up of several lines which is separated by a blank line.
E. g
Life is great
Life is beautiful
Life is lovely
I love life
I love myself
I love god
- so in that poem there are 2 stanzas since there's 2 sets of groups of lines being separated by a blank line
