A driving force that led to the "Lost Year" was racial conflict. Students could not find access for public education for a whole year. Some were forced to leave the state and other entered college early.

If we analyze the over all human history and more specifically the era of slavery inside the United States, when the different individuals were judged for there skin color and on the basis of there background then we will get to know about the hardships faced by the individuals to have a peaceful and more developed United States.

    Explanation:

As, we do know that racial discrimination was at its peak before the 1980's or so. There were different people belonging to multicultural backgrounds and for that reason the common folk of the United States had no capacity to accept them as equal in any way. So, in the States of Arkansas there was the The Little rock central high school. As the institution had a reputation among the top class education centers inside the US. There were a huge number of students across the region studying in various fields of studies, as student were then ill treated by the authorities just because they were once Africans and were black as they were not allowed to carry on there education inside the US. And for that reason there were a huge magnitude of population against this act and they reacted in the form of protests against the education authorities. As, they wanted equal rights just like any other white kid had at that time. But fortunately the authorities were all against this racist act of the institution that had lead to such a disastrous situation inside the over all system, as the supreme ruled against this decision and the system took all those into its consideration who were responsible for this act of crime.
