Evelin Did not want the life that her mother had was willing to leave her family, but something happened where she remembers what her mother told her right before she was going to run away with her boyfriend to Argentina and completely froze. Evaline demonstrated paralysis at this moment where she didn't move for a couple of moments and then she made her final decision that she did not want to abandon her family and wanted to honor his mom. She immediately matured and realized that she had responsibility to take care of and she decided to no longer run away from them and instead faced them with no fear and became a responsible adult when she made that decision.

Her powerlessness, her past and fear of the unknown future causes inaction from her part.

She has an abusive past as she witnessed his father abuse his siblings and mother but later this very people rely on her as the provider and she has a hard time leaving them behind.

She also had an opportunity to make a life with his lover but she couldn't run away with him due to all the conflicted thoughts and fears she has.
