    The story "Charles" by the american writer Shirley Jackson is a short story about how the son of the narrator "Laurie" is starting to go to the kindergarden and he starts to beheave poorly and the mother thinks it is because of the influence of a classmate called Charlie, Laurie starts to talks back at his parents, to start slamming doors and she thinks it's all the influence of Charlie from school, she later in a Teachers and parents meeting realizes that there is no Charlie, and that it was her son all along that was miss-beheaving, so the theme would be C : Parents don't always see who their children truly are.
