    Explanation:

    After the issue of Emancipation Proclamation by Abraham Lincoln issued, it was not supported by his advisors. Still he committed to it and passed it five days after the Battle of Antietam. It resulted in a draw and the union army returned home safely.

    Before the Emancipation Proclamation the main focus of the war was to preserve the Union. But after the issue of Emancipation Proclamation, it changed the focus of the war to Freedom of the Slaves and abolition of slavery.
