Wanting to be a good teammate, Erika never mentioned the other players. She expected them to step up and admit their involvement. She ended up taking the fall alone. Her teammates avoided her, saying they were happy the cheater was off of the team. With the exam postponed, they were treated as heroes for winning the championship without her. Erika transferred to another school, remembered as the girl who cheated to make straight A's. Today, a star athlete and college scholar, Erika blames past mistakes on no one but herself. The ball is in her hands again. This time she plans on making better decisions.

Answer: I believe that it is D

Explanation: It does not state that she is hurt but it does seem to be hinting toward it when she takes all the blame alone. and when her 'friends' avoid her and call her the team cheater.

    D. Erika was hurt by her teammates.

    Explanation:

This is the statement that is implicit in this paragraph. When we look at Erika's situation, we learn that she was hurt by her teammates. We can guess this in various ways. We know that Erika considered the event a mistake, as she later urged herself to make better decisions. We also learn that Erika ended up taking the fall alone, that her teammates avoided her and that she transferred to a different school. All of these events most likely caused Erika a lot of pain, even if this is not explicitly stated in the text.
