Furthermore, The Principles of Psychology was written by William James and published in 1890. G. Stanley Hall did establish the first U. S. experimental psychology laboratory at Johns Hopkins University in 1883, created the American Journal of Psychology (the first journal of Psychology in America) in 1887, and wrote extensively on child development and education-The contents of children's minds on entering school (1893) is just an example.
