Discipline teaches others about respect, and to follow rules. Discipline allows us to realize that there are conserquences to our actions and that we will be responsible for our actions. Without discipline we would have a hindered understanding of what it's like to face our conserquences, and we wouldn't be able to understand the risks of certain actions properly. With discipline we are made civilized, and it allows us to learn how to behave in an appropriate manner.
