I would tell that person that taking in a wild animal as a pet is a bad idea. The reasons why it's a bad idea are that it could pose a danger to your health. Also it's a lot of responsibility, and it's very expensive.

Taking a wild animal and Turning it into your pet could be dangerous in multiple ways. One obvious way is that any animal can be dangerous and could possibly harm you physically, also wild animals carry many diseases.

Whether you buy a pet from a pet store or from a friend or maybe you find the animal and adopted it, no matter which way you choose to go about getting a pet, it's bound to cost you a lot of money. The main thing that your gonna need regardless which animal you choose is food. Food is very expensive and like us, they're going to eat often. Don't forget about the medical bills. With the shots, illnesses, and check ups you can expect to spend around three digits worth of money.

Last but not least, having a pet is a lot of responsibility. They require food, water, attention, Love, active time and much more. Not to mention the amount of time it's going to take you to train your pet and get them into a routine. It's going to be difficult and very time consuming.

In conclusion, I don't suggest getting a wild animal as a pet because they could pose a threat to your health, they're expensive and are a lot of responsibility.
