Scientific knowledge is both durable and open to change. In your own words, explain why scientific knowledge may be open to change. Include two examples where this might occur.

    Scientific knowledge may be open to change because the facts of science are always changing and what science has proved today may be discarted tomorrow as knowledge is in constant test. 1 example is that the scientific knowledge of the shape of the earth was wrong for many years, believing that it was squared. That knowledge had to be changed. a 2nd example is that it was believed that the sun was spinning or orbiting around the earth which was not true and needed a change. Now we now that the earth spins around the sun
