For what reasons does paris believe it has been difficult for him to become close with juliet and let her know how he really feels about her?

The reason why it was difficult for Paris to tell Juliet what he truly feels and to be closer to her is because Juliet does not wish to marry him. Juliet proclaims that she does not want to be married with another man unless that the man that she will be married to is Romeo. Even though on Juliet's family side agrees that she could marry Paris because they find him as a lovely guy for Juliet to marry, Juliet still refuses because of her love to Romeo. The more Paris wants to marry Juliet, the more it will be difficult for him because Juliet does not like him.
