Why where jobs in the, new England, middle region, and Southern region different for the slaves?

    First each region you list are geographically different in trade, manufacturing, farming.

    Weather and seasons of farming differ for each region. South = cotton; middle region = tobacco; New England = maple syrup for example.

    Culture of each area also may have played a part in the various jobs.
