The giver

why do you think author lois lowry chose not to resolve the book clearly? would the novel be better if it had a definitive ending? why or why not? finally, describe in your own words how you think the giver ends, as indicated by these last two paragraphs

    I believe that the author Lois Lowry chose not to resolve the book clearly because she wanted it to be a mystery. The novel probably would have been better with a definitive ending because, it's always good to know how a story ends. if i was telling how I believed the story would end judging by the last two paragraphs, Id say that the main character and whoever was allied with him would live / make it to whatever destination they are trying to make it to.
