The belief that Cugoano explicitly expresses in this excerpt is that B. slavery is an awful and vicious practice.

He says that there is nothing more disgusting that the crimes committed because slavery still exists, except perhaps those committed during the Inquisition and Popish massacres. However, having compared slavery to these hideous crimes, his stance on slavery is quite obvious.
