All of them are coming from Greek. 'Logos' means science. 'Ethos' refers to the fundamental spirit of a culture or it is the moral element in dramatic literature that determines the character's behaviour. 'Pathos' is a quality that arouses emotions, esp. those of sorrow, pity and of compassion.
