    As it's known, an analogy is a comparison of qualities and features of 2 different concepts/things, which aim is to explain that concept by comparing it to something that is familiar.

    Keeping in mind that definition, and after analyzing in detail the statement, it could be said that, this is an analogy example.

    So the option that better fits is A. emotional.

    "Stoic is to emotional as abject is to elated"

    As it can be seen in the second part of the statement "abject is to elated", the purpose of this is to compare two totally different concepts which are quite related with the meaning of the word "stoic". So the part that was missing needs to be completed using a word/concept which means the opposite of "stoic".
