from To Kill a Mockingbird In at least 250 words, explain how Tom Robinson is characterized by the Ewells compared to how he is characterized by the author? Use at least three examples from the text to back up your claim.

    Tom Robinson is characterized by the Ewells as a person of no value or no feelings but he is characterized by Harper Lee as a mockingbird (an innocent person). Examples would be how the Ewells won the case just because they were white despite there being no evidence of Tom raping Mayella. When Tom dies is another example because he was shot even though he was innocent. And the third example could be like Atticus's relationship with Tom, he gives his best effort to save Tom, an innocent man who has values too.
