    The answer would be A. "Pathos."

    Pathos is meant to appeal to people's emotions. A way to do this is by using certain words during a speech or an essay that evoke strong feelings in the audience. Ethos is meant to appeal through credibility, logos is meant to appeal through logic. Justos is not one of the modes of persuasion and is therefore invalid.
