    In the first part of the poem "The Warning" Longfellow tells the story of revenge from Samson to the Philistines and shows how he fall to make them all fall with him, in the last stanza he says that there is a Samson who will "shake the pillars of this Commonweal, Till the vast Temple of our liberties." Showing the effect of the slavery in America.
