From her thirteenth birthday, Anne Frank keeps a diary, she hasn't many friends so she used to write long letters to an imaginary girlfriend, Kitty.

The last time he confided his thoughts to the diary was August 1, 1944. In these two years a lot has changed in her life infact the first few weeks after her birthday they were normal girls school's days.

But since 6 July she is locked up with her parents and sister in a hiding-place. During her clandestinity her diary allows her to let off steam. On March 16, 1944 he writes that the best thing for her is to be able to write her feelings and her thoughts.
