What is the main conflict in this passage

Hansel and gretal lived on the edge of a dark and foreboding forest. One day, while exploring, they were captured by a horrible witch, who threatened to eat them. Though they were frightened, the children devised an escape plan. When the witch was ready to eat them, they fought back, eventually pushing her into the oven running away. When they got home, they told their parents about their adventure and promised never to go back into the woods again.

    While answer A shows a conflict, their major conflict is with the witch. B is incorrect and they don't have any decision to make whether or not to stay and C is never mentioned in the text.
