The sentence is:

The narratives of Keckley, Douglass, and the Crafts were similar in the fact that all wanted their freedom, but different in their experiences as slaves, their reasons for wanting emancipation, and their lives after emancipation.

    Yes it is a run - on sentence.

    Explanation:

    it is because there aren't any brakes when necessary. This can be confusing, and I would know, I'm in middle school
