Ms. Merriweather is to call Scout's name.

    Explanation:

In this section of To Kill a Mockingbird, Ms Merriweather prepared the children for a pageant. Each child has the knowledge of the appropriate moment to appear on the stage, but Scout had a bad performance.

She was assigned the role of a ham, and should appear on the stage in her costume when Ms. Merrweather calls her name. Her only duty was just to walk across the middle of the stage. Unfortunately, she slept to wake up when it was late for her cue. She was scolds by Ms. Merriweather and felt nervous and embarrassed.
