The Christian symbols include all those symbols that are related to the Christian religion and its different branches. Some of these symbols have a pre-Christian origin and had been used by other religions. Others are originally from early Christian times and have been maintained over the following centuries.

The Fish: Until now it is known that the fish symbol was a secret symbol used among the world's first Christians. It is important to emphasize that the fish is also a recurring element in the gospels, that is, it is mentioned in the four gospels of the bible. At present, this symbol has become popular again to identify with Christianity.

The cross: Within Christianity, the cross is one of the most important and emblematic symbols of religion, because remember that Jesus Christ died on a cross. So, it's like a way to remember his sacrifice to redeem mankind.

The lamb: The symbol of the lamb is another of the most representative Christian symbols of religion, because Christ is referred to as the lamb. It is also said that Christ is our Shepherd.

The dove: The symbol of the dove, technically this is one of the classic symbols of Christianity for many reasons. The dove is mentioned in different biblical passages, especially in the gospels referring to the baptism of Jesus Christ.

IHS Monogram: These three letters can be interpreted as an abbreviation of the words Iesus Hominum Salvator, which in Latin means "Jesus Savior of Men."
