A verb is a word that originates from the Latin term Verbum. It is a portion of a speech that is related to express excitement or move an object in motion. A verb must have particular tense i. e. Present , past or future. A verb is a pretty significant part of any sentence. There are two main purposes;

That a verb can perform: there are those verbs that place an object into action. Other verbs allow more explanation on the very object.
