When should we show people mercy, and when should we show people justice, and can we ever show both?

It all depends on what you think is the right thing

well yeah we can show both but first i think the justices goes first because if someone does something bad to someone else and if we just show them mercy and let them go then they would probably do the same thing again so i think we should show people justice first then mercy.

at least thats what i think but people have a lots of other opinions so yeah and if this doesnt answer your question sorry.
