If you wanted to convey a complex message via traditional media, which type of media would you NOT want to use?

If I want to convey a complex message via a traditional media, I would not use a gossip magazine. I think that when people read these type of magazines they are expecting to find information about celebrities' lives. The texts tend to be short, clear and easy to understand. So, if I write something complex the readers would not pay attention to it.
