Bush whose presidency was from 2001-2009 are the presidents of the United States who have faced the greatest international challenges in the history of their country. Washington made the decision to use the atomic bomb, with the specific purpose of obtaining the unconditional surrender of Japan. In his speeches Truman convinced his people to launch the most important strategy of international aid in history, the Marshall Plan: 13,000 million dollars for Europeans to raise their economy. On his side, only 20 days after dispatching the Oval Office on February 16, 2001, President Bush ordered a bombing of Iraq in retaliation for having flown over the exclusion zone. He deliberated for three weeks with his war cabinet and, when hostilities began in Afghanistan, the Pentagon had already established close collaboration with European allies, especially with Great Britain and France. In his speeches start his crusade against international terrorism.
