    Hey There,

The difference between a protagonist and an antagonist is that The protagonist is usually the good guy or the hero in the book or movie. They are what the story centers around and they are the lead character. The antagonist is the character that stands in the way of the protagonist and their goal (s). The antagonist is not necessarily the bad guy, they could just be standing or getting in the way of the good guy.

    Best Of Luck,
