The Hare always bragged about his speed, and agility. So, when it came to race the Tortoise the Hare was sure that he would beat him. But his narcissism might of got the best of him! He was so cocky, and confident that he would win against his sluggish competitor, he didn't think was even worthy of being called his competitor. The Hare was so sure that he would win, and was so far ahead that he took a nap right in the midst of the race! With this careless action the Tortoise was able to surpass the Hare and win the race with time to spare
