It is option C. By Eating the forbidden fruit both Adan and Eve question God's soveregnity. They are tempted by Satan to do so and he questions His supremacy all through Paradise Lost. By doing as they were told by Satan, it is clear they support him instead of God. They fall because they chose his side. By doing so they question God. All wanted to transgress against God's prerogatives.

Technically, Satan wanted power, Adam and Eve wanted knowledge. They wanted things that belonged to God and God alone, and they were punished for it.

so it can be either b or c not sure though.
